Hey guys,

This is my good friend Larkin. She’s only 28 years-old. In August she was diagnosed with non-hodkins lymphoma after breaking her hip at work. She endured four months of intense chemotherapy with a giant smile upon her beautiful face, and, being the amazingly positive person she is, she decorated her walker with flames, and made her wig-buying experience a fun one, rather than dreadful.

Today we got news that she now has a malignant tumor in her brain (which she nicknamed Marta… the one on her hip was Judy). On Monday she will find out what her course of treatment will be, and although the success rate with this diagnosis is high, it is still absolutely devastating news, especially coming a mere three weeks after she celebrated being done with chemo.

I’m just posting this in hopes of sending tons and tons of positive energy her way. If you pray, it’d be much appreciated if you did so for her and her family. If not, please just keep them in your thoughts! I also made a tumblr for her, so that people could hopefully send nice messages to her and her family (here). No guilt trips here, but it’d sure be awesome if you reblogged this so that we can send them as many happy thoughts as possible! :)
